Frankly, I think you gotta have love for the original above all simply because without it, we wouldn't have this wonderful franchise. Though for playability, The Room is pretty flipping sweet, giant bug-eyed Eileen head and all.
Your thoughts? Excited about the new upcoming game? Pissed that Harry's signature v-neck shirt and melee combat are gone? Huge Heather fan? Love death cults? -ahem.- Discuss! |

This is kind of cool and Im interested enough in the game to follow it, though I doubt Ill actually play it. Ive also heard that they took combat out of the game completely. When monsters show up you need to run away and hide. I kind of like that, because with the limited experience I had with Silent Hill, combat was a disaster.

I think the hiding is kind of a Konami trade mark. Solid Snake, anyone? LOL I'm going to miss the combat. D:
I'm thrilled that's it's for a console I have already though. X3 None of the PS3 business. |

I always loved the overall creepiness that came with Silent Hill 2. Creepy slithering flesh jackets running from under cars. Odd camera angles, sound just at the right time to get me to jolt. Ah good times, good time.

I have nightmares about Pyramid Head. I used to call him Traffic-Cone Guy. Less scary. Now, I have no nightmares. He sounds funny now. Traffic-Cone Guy.
